Standardizing Operations Through Transparency and Clear Policy
In line with our commitment to transparency and good governance, LEB-IX provides access to important documents and policies that guide our operations. Below you will find a list of key documents, agreements, and policy statements. These documents are available for download (PDF format) and detail the rules, procedures, and organizational information for LEB-IX.
All documents are provided in English. They are version-controlled, and we will indicate the version or date on each in the file name. For instance, “Peering Policy v1.0 – Jan 2025”. If any document is updated, we will notify members (through email or news) and update the download link here. Old versions may be archived as needed for reference.
Please note: Some documents are placeholders and will be updated as the exchange grows; if a document is not yet available, it will be indicated as “Coming Soon.”
This is the foundational agreement establishing LEBIX as a neutral IXP. It outlines LEBIX’s mission, non-profit status, governance structure, and the roles of members and the managing organization.
This document includes the terms and conditions of membership, responsibilities of members (such as maintaining an up-to-date NOC contact, adhering to policies), and LEB-IX’s responsibilities in operating the exchange
Complements the Peering Policy with additional technical info such as: IP addressing scheme on the exchange, MTU size, recommendations for BGP timers, route server details (AS numbers, supported communities), and how to troubleshoot common issues

General Assembly Meeting
Coming Soon
As a member-driven organization, LEB-IX holds general meetings where major decisions are discussed. We are committed to publishing summaries of these meetings (excluding any confidential information) to keep everyone informed
Coming Soon
The LEB-IX board (or steering committee) meets more frequently to handle ongoing operational or strategic issues. While not every detail is public, we share here a high-level summary of decisions or discussions, especially if they impact members
Coming Soon
In future years, we plan to publish an annual report that might include statistics (traffic, membership), financial overview (expenses, fees collected), and highlights of the year (achievements, events hosted)
Coming Soon
As noted in our governance principles, LEB-IX may maintain a public log of formal complaints lodged by members or stakeholders, along with outcomes.
Some documents above are listed as “Coming Soon” because they will be finalized in coordination with members or during the initial phase of LEB-IX’s operation. For example, the Annual Report will be available after the first year of operation; the complaint log will appear if/when applicable. We appreciate your patience and are happy to provide draft copies or further information upon request in the meantime.
